IVF - here I come - update: thank you
So I had my appt with dr. K today after my failed iui's.
He told me that he wants to skip the injectibles and move right to IVF. He thinks it would be best in my situation. So, my husband and I agreed that we would do it.
I feel okay about it.
I have to call LI IVF in the morning to try to get into this series, if not, I have to wait for the next one. There is an orientation tomorrow night.
God, this is scary!!!! Any advice??
Thanks so much everyone! We went to our orientation tonight and it was not as overwhelming as I thought. I know a lot more than I thought I would!!!

Take it one day at a time...it can be extremely overwhelming at first and if you try to get it all at once you will be scared to death.
Take each day as it comes, go to the orientation, when you get your meds just divide them up and do what your instructions for each day tell you to do...don't worry about any of it in advance.

Best of luck! I think making the decision to move to IVF is the biggest step....DH & I just went through this too & it was very overwhelming but we take it day by day. Now that I am 2 weeks away from my start date, I am getting anxious!!!!

Good Luck!!!!
I just want to let you know, that there is this scary feeling when going into IVF, for me so far... I think it has been a breeze, I mean, not the feelings involved, but the actaul meds and shots, and follow-ups... Don't get so crazy about that becuase its like nothing!

Want to wish you the best of luck. I'm glad you are getting more pro-active. I sorta felt like I wasted time with IUI's. Though many do get lucky with them.
Most of us have been through a round (or 3) and if you have any questions let me know.
