Update-just got back from my ob/gyn
So, we got somewhat mixed news.
We have to make an appointment with genetics due to my medical conditions, particularly since I took methotrexate for my rheumatoid arthritis-they will tell us when we have a green light. I was a bit dissapointed that we can't ttc, since I am not off of the methotrexate long enough. I will be off of it 3 months November 3, so we are getting there.
My doctor gave me folic acid in addition to prenatals. He is also having me take a blood test on CD 21 and DH is having a sperm eval. The only other thing he told me is that I can't get a epidural, so with my conditions, I will have to have a scheduled C-Section under general anethesia.
So, I am praying we get a green light soon! I was crying after the appointment because I really want to try, but I think it was promising. My doc thinks we should be okay when ttcing.

okay - i know that you are upset - but overall - this is GOOD NEWS HONEY!!!!!!!
November 3rd is like 2 weeks away and then you're THERE... Think of the kinky costume fun you can have on Halloween...(okay, that may've gone too far). 
The SA and CD21 bloodwork are GREAT things to have done - it puts you a few steps ahead of the game!!!!!
The scheduled C-Section - are you okay with that? Did you always dream of a vaginal birth - or is that not a huge deal to you??

i know you are frustrated...but the good news is ... he is doing all tests to get you on the road to a BFP!!
so think of the big picture... !!

It's really great that your doctors are RIGHT ON TOP OF THIS! That's all we can ask for at this point, right? And they are putting everything on the table for you right now. You have AT LEAST 9 months to get used to the idea of having a C-section.
As Jess said, November is just a few weeks away!

This is great news!! November is right around the corner. Instead of a bun you can have a turkey in the oven! (that was a bad one  )
Everything is going to work out great for you. A C-section is not so bad either. You get an extra day in the hospital to rest and an extra week off from work. That's all good stuff!

How much longer after November do you have to wait? The good thing is that you have a good doctor that is helping you make smart decisions so you have a healthy little baby.

Possibly end of December (crossing fingers)
We have an appointment for the geneticist (sp?) on October 27, and they will let me know when exactly we can try, because of the methotrexate I had to take for my RA-I will be off of it 3 months on Nov 3!
