When did most items come off your registry?
If you had your shower, when did most items come off your registry? Did alot of stuff come off right before your shower? A bit concerned here, I sure hope I don't mostly get clothing when there are so many things we need more than a huge wardrobe.

So far my registry has had a LOT of activity over the past 2 weeks. Not sure when my shower is (I think in the beginning of Nov). Luckily though many of my family & friends would buy off the registry.
You also ALWAYS have last minute shoppers as well.

I had about 15 items purchased from my registry the week the invitations went out. Since then, nothing. My shower is the 8th--when is yours?

i am assuming about 1-2 weeks before the shower...people are generally last minute shoppers..
i haven't checked my registry b/c i figured since i know about my shower, i should leave some sort of element of surprise for myself...
it's actually more fun and exciting that way. i did that for my bridal shower and i just had so much fun opening my gifts b.c i had no idea what we received prior...

17 items came off my registry. Almost all are the big items bought by immediate family.
Snickers, my shower is the first weekend of Nov, a week before you. So there really are only 2 weekends left until then. Do people know what you are having? For me they do, that's why I worry about too many clothes, not enough necessities.
I would assume most people are last minute shoppers, at least I hope.

My shower is in less than two weeks, and not much had come off. Most of the essentials have been bought though, so I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

As of now 37 things have come off the registry and i am excited because a lot of the important stuff is really off..all the bedding and room decor, swing, bouncer, car seat, stroller, bottles ect.! .. I think the invitaitons have been out a little over a week...and i think "Wink Wink" its on Nov 9th...but not sure!!!
And yes i too believe that there are a lot of last minute shoppers. I have 3 siblings and my DH has 5...i am sure a lot of those things that are off are from those people who tend to be very generous!!! And the best friends too!!!

 Never! People bought what they wanted for the most part. That said-I got most stuff I needed between my family and cash/gift cards but my registry is still pretty full

I also think it depends on who is buying... if you have a lot family and or friends that have had kids in the past they might tend to buy more off the registry torwards things they feel you might "really" need. But for folks that might have never had children or out of the loop for a while i feel tend to buy more cloths and "cute" things rather then registry things!!!

35 things came off mine in the couple week after I registered before the invites went out.
Now the invites are out and there hasnt been much activity. My shower is at the end of November.
