another non TTC topic for today 10/8
do you ladies have any plans for New Years Eve this year?
We don't have any ideas, so I'm hoping to get some ideas

we go to Niagara Falls every year for New Years.
They do a free concert on the falls and have fireworks, etc....
Last year was Loverboy and the lead singer of Styx...so i got to hear:
DOMO ARREGATO MR ROBOTO to bring in my new year! It was PERFECTION!!!
(oh yeah and we also got married in secret that trip too...tee hee... )

We'll be in England! My brother does sound for a big NYE party in his town & it's supposed to be a blast so I can't wait 
ETA: If you're looking for ideas, we got rooms w/a bunch of friends & did the big formal NYE party at the Huntington Hilton the year that my dh turned 30. We had pre & post parties - it was a blast!!

Well if you're not the partying type you should definitely do a romantic dinner! Cook a fabulous meal and dessert, have some candles.. it can be so sweet!

I was hoping to go away for a few days with friends, but DH doesn't know if he can get off and my dad is moving to FL (he is my sitter! ) so I think a quiet evening at home will be our plans.

Usually do a family get together of food, drinks and games!!! We are so dorky!
DH and I just don't like driving anywhere on that night, so we usually stay with one family on the Eve and then go and do the same thing the next day with the other.

Probably having a party for friends and some family at our house. We have a finished basement..but it needs to be cleaned out first!
This is only our second NYE together too! Last year we went to see Jim Norton at Westbury Music Fair with my sis and her BF and then back to my house for some drinking..just the four of us! It was fun.

Probably a great cocktail party at our friends nearby. We're usually the couple that's asleep by 10 Last year we went to their place & had a great time.
