Anyone OPK test in the morning?
So I have been doing some reading up on ovulation testing etc and I read that your LH surge can be missed sometimes. Has anyone on here tested twice during a period where you thought you might be O'ng? Or has anyone tested first thing in the morning with success?
I read on the info pack with CBOPK that you can test in the morning.

the CBEFM should be tested in the morning...
but not the CBE digitals or the other kits... the FMU is highly concentrated.. its best to do it between 2-8pm!

If you're testing in the morning IN ADDITION to test at night, then that's fine.
But by testing in the morning only, you're likely to miss the beginning of your surge (believe me! It's happened to me before - I only got 1 +OPK instead of the usual 2).

Okay so i have missed this morning. I am "supposed" to O tomorrow and still no smiley face. I will test this afternoon and if I have no smiley face then I will test twice tomorrow. If I get no smileyface tomorrow then I will cry and beat myself up.

awwww.. dont be hard on yourself...
just test 1 time day!!
preferably within the 2-8pm time frame.. and the same time each day... and try to hold it in for 4 hours without drinking anything

I have been testing for the past 3 days in the evening - usually around 6pm with a 3 hour hold and nothing but a big fat O...I was really expecting a  yesterday.
I bet I O'd on tuesday as Dh was golfing and we didnt bd tuesday or wednesday...I just know it...I am going to burn his clubs if that is what happened

CD19..my cycle averages 33-34 days - last month 33 days. So if you O 14 days before AF is due I should be O today or tomorrow right? but where is miss smiley face?

have you taken the tests before and got a ? or anything that you know when exactly you Oed?
if you have a 14 LP then yea you might get the positive today or tomorrow.

Yes, don't go just by days. When I was TTC for DS I found out I was ovulating much sooner than I thought.

This is my first month using the CB digital OPK's and I got off to a bad start. I got 4 error messages when I started using them this week but I got a new packet and started using them again on wednesday and no since then.
I did use the pee on a stick version last sat, sun, mon and tuesday and I got two lines on Sun and Mon but none on the other days. But everyone says if the line is not darker than the control line then its not valid.
It if was valid and I did O on tuesday then we Bd'd on Sun and Mon but not tuesday or wed and again last night - thursday so I bet we missed it.

I used them and tested once first thing in the morning and the second time was after work around 5.
I saw the line in the morning and again in the afternoon.
