quite possibly the dumbest ttc question ever

but I'm going to ask it anyway...Chat Icon

So, the other day I posted that I was feeling what I thought could be implantation cramping.
DH and I BD'd last night and he kept saying "I'm afraid I'm going to knock it out or mess it up if its implanting right now" -- so my question is, is that possible? If you BD when you're experiencing implantation, can it cause a problem with the implantation process?

My gut instinct is NO, but for some reason I felt like we needed to be really careful last night.

Since it was my first month using OPKs and I didnt use a digital, I'm not 100% sure I O'd on the day I thought I did. So, when I felt the cramping, I wasnt sure if it was implantation OR if I possibly O'd later than I thought -- which is why we BD'd again last night (just in case I was actually Oing late).

I don't have any scientific backup on this one, but I would venture to say no- it could not have an impact. Once those guys get up there and start doing their thing, I don't believe you can knock them loose.

I am going to agree with Nicole even though I have nothing to back it with either. I am pretty sure it goes along the same lines as "even rough sex won't knock your baby loose."

No, nothing can happen, but I am very paranoid about that as well- I am a huge PITA each cycle after our TTC time is done.

Re: quite possibly the dumbest ttc question ever

okay - so here's my dumb thinking....

i'm PETRIFIED for us to have 'relations' over the past 3 days...because i'm expecting AF to show and i don't want any 'bd'ing' to force it to come earlier...since DH is a big boy down there....

I literally had to TELL him that last night - that if us bd'ing brought on my period earlier - i'd be so upset....

No it can't. Our anatomy is built that way. I think if it were that easy...women wouldn't have to go into labor to have a baby.
So enjoy!
