cold meds
I have the worst cold. Stuffy nose, sore throat and some coughing.
What am I allowed to take?
I really need some sleep tonight!!

From what my doctor said, we can only take Tylenol. I have a cold too (miserable!) and I have been taking vitamin c, and drinking lots of tea with lemon.

My doc said Robittusin (sp) DM.
Unfortunately what was a cold for me last week (and I did NOT take anything) somehow turned into /or I just got Bronchitis. Now I have to be on antibiotic. I am unhappy about it but I have no choice..
if you feel terrible, go to the doctor! You don't want it to get worse

Same thing happened to me. I took the Robitussin and it didn't help. Turns out my cough turned into Asthmatic Bronchitis. I'm on 4 different medications for the rest of the week.
I'm finally feeling better today.

Not trying to hijack, but I was just wondering if you had a bad cough and when it went away. Today will be my third day on meds and I still have a terrible cough but I feel a bit better than two days ago...

Yes, I still have a horrible cough. I feel like the medicine loosed up whatever was in there and now I'm coughing up more and more stuff...gross, I know.
