Well you have to ask yourself if it will bother you if you're at the playground & calling her name & there's 2-3 other little girls with the same name or if she has a few girls in her class with the same name.
Personally I love Jocelyn, that is one of our top names also.

Personally, yes I think it's extremely popular. Isabella, along with the rest of the usual top 10 baby names of the past few years, is like the Jennifer and Jessica of the 80's were, when I was in school back then, there was a Jennifer A. and a Jennifer H. and Jessica D., etc. I hear Isabella shouted out to little girls on the street now all the time, for the past few years and imagine it will be the same for them in school.
That said, if you love it, go for it. I still do love Jocelyn though.

I love the name, but it is #1. But I love it and the nickname Izzy too.
However, one of my personal "rules" was that I didn't want to choose names that were in the top 10 in the past couple of years. I used the Social Security website. They show the most popular names in the U.S. and in each state.

I absolutely love it and it would def. be in the running if we were having a girl. My name is Jenn and I grew up w/ a million Jenn's in my grade, school, everywhere I went.....it really is not a big deal! If you love it, go for it!!!
