I was on it for 7 years because they told me it would lower my chances of ovarian cancer by 50% (my mom had ovarian cancer). Well after I came off it I realized all the terrible side effects it had on me. I will NEVER use it again. Consider yourself lucky for not going on it!!

I was on it for 2 days and it raised my BP so high I temporarily went blind in one eye. So never again!!!
My sister was on it but about 10 years ago it caused a blood clot in her eye and she is now permanetly blind in her left eye.
omg..that is just terrible about your sister.. i really am amazed by all the stories the girls are sharing about the negative side effects it can have..
i am happy to hear that you stopped it immediately after

I was never on BCP either. My (then) BF and I were long distance through college so it seemed silly to be on the pill for visits that only happened every 6 weeks or so. Once I moved back to NY, I never bothered.
