Wow, I can't believe some other members of LIF's sons have had it. Pjay, it must be very reassuring to be finally get the right news and hear from others who have had their sons go through the surgeries, and to know it can be fixed. To the other ladies whose sons had it, I am glad to know your sons were in good hands and are doing great!

I am very glad that you are in good hands now and that it can be surgically corrected.

You poor thing! What I don't understand is that wouldn't the amnio pick on the myriad of reasons why he might be born without a penis? Why would they make you go through such hell???? I am so glad you found a wondeful doctor to realize what is happening.

Pjay I am so sorry you are going through this but you are far from alone. My son also had this and had to have surgery to correct it at 6 months. It was terrifying to have to watch you 6 month be put under, but let me tell you his penis is great now and functioning perfectly. And the surgery was in and out in a day.

Please don't let it get to you too much. The doctors who specialize in this are amazing. Just be aware though that when you son is born his penis will be crooked. My sons went off to one side, so it looks alarming, but it functions normally. The only thing we had to deal with was he peed a lot out of his diaper.
