I think it's time for me to join you ladies
I'm sure you are all a bunch of wonderfully supportive people, but I've been holding out for a long time. I hope you'll understand and not hold it against me.
We've been trying for a year, w/ 1 miscarriage last fall. I need to find a specialist now. Can anyone recommend one in the Queens/Western Nassau area? I'm going to ask my Dr., but can't get an appointment with him for another month, and don't want to wait that long. Thanks for any recommendations. I truly appreciate it.

I second North Shore....I see Dr. Rosenfeld & could not be happier...They are always on time with their appts & you will always get an answer when you call

North Shore or Cornell are probably the two best places in your area. Although, Cornell is in the city - they are the best of the best.

you could also see Dr. Kenigsberg or Dr. Brenner at LI-IVF. They have an office in Lake Success. You may have to travel to Melville for some procedures though. But all monitoring (which can be frequent) can be done in Lake Success.

First off, welcome and glad you found the courage to join us. I promise, we don't bite! As for a doctor recommendation, I am a patient at LI IVF and Dr. Brenenr is my RE. They have an office in Lake Success, no too far from LIJ hospital. Best of luck and hopefully your stay with us will be short.

I see Dr. Flisser at RMANY. They are in Garden City and Manhattan. I have nothing but good things to say about them. FM if you want more info and good luck.

Thanks for the welcome and recs, everyone! I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions, I don't even know where to start. I plan on going to see my dr. to get a recommendation from him, I think; he's associated with NSUH, so I kind of think he'll send me there.

Welcome. This isn't a place any of us ever planned to be, but we're here, we support each other and we try to make the best of our common mess.
I see RS of NY (they have a website) www.rsofny.com
They have offices in Brooklyn, Mineola, West Islip and Stonybrook. I love them.
