1 Hr Glucose test
I skipped the 1 hr last pregnancy and went right for the 3 hr b/c of family history.
Do you need to fast for the 1 hr test as well?

My doc said no for the 1hr test. I'll have mine in 3wks.

I did from the night before. If you have family hx of diabetes i would fast.

My dr told me I have to do that as well due to family history!

I had GD with my first pregnancy and my doctor said I have to fast one hour before drinking the drink.

I did not have to fast for either of my 1 hour tests. I would check with your doctor.

Hey Deb... I didn't. Since my appt was at 3:30pm I felt like I was gonna pass out if I didn't eat at work all day. Call TBW and ask!!

I think every doc tells you something different so ask your doctor with my first son they told me not to fast but with my last pregnancy and this pregnancy this doctor told me to fast from midnight on and go first thing in the morning then treat myself to the best breakfast afterwards..
