ANA Questions. Really need help!! LONG SORRY

Ok...so long story short. Does anyone know anything about the difference between an ANA screen and the ANA Titre?
I have + titres (1:160) but negative Screen. Now from the research I have done myself it says that usually if a ANA screen comes back positive, automatically the lab runs the titre. But in my case, I had the Titre for years now and its always been +, but my primary MD just decided to run the ANA screen and she told me it was negative (the screen, she didnt repeat the titre). I am so confused. I was also worked up with a rheumatology profile and it was all negative (that God!) but the ANA Titre is ALWAYS + for me, so why would the screen be normal? I am so confused.


REWIND: I had seen a perinatologist first (before my primary MD), bc at my OBGYN office they did a preconception w/u and it confirmed the presence of the ANA titre, in addition to anticardiolipin AB and elevated homocystein and elevated Protein C

So, I was started on baby ASA, prenatals, 4mg Folic Acid and B complex. I went to see my primary MD b/c I thought she should know all of this and she looked at me like i was crazy, ran her own bloods and got different results (Anticadiolipin AB were negative and this ANA SCREEN was normal)
So now I am confused as hell!!!!

I don't have any clue what you are talking about. So for you.

But how about you go back to the origional doctor that you saw before your MD with your MD's findings and maybe discuss it further with them.

Thanks ladies for your support! I know my post can be confusing! the thing is i am a RN and I have a good deal of knowledge on the subject, but my OWN labs is what is so baffling!!! I am not sure what to do.
MY primary (whom /i usually run things by, was USELESS this time!
