I would say in the beginning of your cycle. They will definitely want to dod CD 3 bloodwork. Good luck

Hi there When I went to see an RE I went in for a consultation with the doctor first just to meet him and get a feel for what to expect. DH and I already knew we were dealing with male factor issues so we were able to discuss that with the doctor. I believe the next time they have you go in would be on the third day of your period for an internal sono and blood work to check hormone levels and such.

The ideal day is cycle day 3 since that is when blood work is done to check important hormone levels.

Honestly, I would try to schedule for after your period is over. They will most definitely do a sono at your consult, whereas blood is done in the morning and consults are in the afternoon. Nothing is going to happen right away anyway...and when you get your next period they will have you come in for CD3. They will probably send you for a full blood workup in the interim though.

I would say go at the end of your cycle, before your period so that you've already been there for the consult, then they can do the CD3 blood and any sonos thereafter. You'll need a week or 2 notice to make appts for sonos. So if you go for a consult from CD 20-25, then the following week will be the CD3 blood, then CD 6-10 can be sonos.
