- Ovulation Kits
I keep on getting 2 lines-mostly strong some faint-how do I know which is real and which is me seeing things-lol- should I just get the smiley face one? This is more complicated then I thought......

how many kits are you using per day???
once you have a strong line - you stop testing (from the way i understand it)...

Its a 7 day test kit- I started testing on Sunday-so IM almost out- do i buy more-lol

when did you get your strong line?
i started testing tuesday, skipped Wednesday and will test again today...
once you get the strong line though - you stop testing, because it's supposed to have detected your surge & then it trails off after that :)

I agree- once you get a strong 2nd line, you have your answer- so go get busy!
Save the others for next month (although hopefully you won't need them!)

I have to be honest, I use the digital ones because I wouldn't be able to figure out the other ones. At Target, they aren't really that expensive.

Check out the website www.peeonastick.com - it has lots of great tips for using OPKs.
An OPK is positive when the line is darker than the control line. You always have a little bit of the lutenizing hormone that an OPK measures in your system - that's why you get faint lines. But you're looking for a surge in LH which indicates that ovulation MAY happen in the next 12 to 36 hours - when you surge, the line should come up darker than the control line on the test strip. Peeonastick.com has pictures to show you what it would look like.
