3 questions for someone...

1) Does a positive OPK count if it's well after the time limit? I mean by hours? I believe she said that for days she had an almost positive OPK stick and then one of those days the stick looked positive but hours later?


2) Can you get a positive OPK stick even though you don't really think you ovulated? Basing this on absolutely no ovulation pains and CF was always sticky?


3) What can cause you not to ovulate? She kept getting almost positive sticks and then not so dark anymore and she's pretty sure she didn't ovulate? She said she does ovulate every month?

If it came up positive w/in the 3-5 mins after testing i would count that as positive. Anything after that i wouldnt necessarily consider accurate

It's a friend of mine. She's been TTC for 8 months now and she has always ovulated every month, it's just that this month she got 3 almost positive OPK and 1 of them looked positive hours and hours later, not within the time limit. She said she didn't have the watery CM she always gets and not one ovulation cramp she gets either. She's just upset because she doesn't think she's going to ovulate this month. Her OPK stick she said was much lighter today than it has been. Can you gear up for ovulation and then not ovulate? Normally she'll get positive liines every month and then ovulate. She's just upset because she never had trouble getting PG with her other 3 kids and now it's been 8 months counting this one. She's not used to really having to try to get PG I guess.
