For those who had mis-carriage
How long did you wait to TTC again, and was the next pregnancy successful? TIA
My doctor told me to wait until after my next cycle..

I was told to wait 3 cycles, which is the standard. I ended up waiting longer to allow myself more time to physycally and mentally heal . I didn't want to go into a pregnancy with FEAR but HOPE and I knew that it would take a while.
I got PG first month trying afterwards. I am now 5W3D!

I didn't wait to start again. I had a natural MC in May at 5 weeks.

my old doctor told me to wait 1 cycle
new doc told me to wait 3 cycles..
i am going with my gut and feel mentally ready.. so we started trying after my 1st cycle.. dont know the outcome yet

I had a miscarriage on March 27 of last year (we learned the baby did not have a heartbeat on March 21 and on the 27th I passed the sac). I was told I could start again after my first AF. I got pregnant July 7, 2007 and had DS (in avatar March 20, 2008).

My gyn said to wait 3 months, but my RE didn't want me to wait. She said that since I was only 5 weeks that it was just fine to TTC right away.

We were supposed to wait two cycles since I had a D & C. We were in Vegas two weeks after I had my first period post D&C nd well, you can figure out the rest
<------------------------Healthy baby nine months later.
So one cycle and it was fine.

Hi Julie 
My doc told us that we could start again after 1 full cycle, but he recommended waiting 3 so that I could work on healing emotionally. My dh & I have been discussing it again, though, and we've decided not to wait. We're going to start again after this cycle.

Thanks ladies, I think we are going to start trying again after my next cycle. We are doing a million times better emotionally now than a couple weeks ago. And my checkup went well, she said I have no more restrictions. So, hopefully I will have a normal cycle next month, and then we can try again
