Peanut has a HOME!
finally after 5 months - it looks like Peanut has found a new home
she is "movin' on up" to a Manhattan apartment with a lovely older couple
their son came over today and wanted to take her- but he is coming back sunday- since the traffic was awful and his son is allergic to cats
of course Peanut acted like a brat the whole time- and even cut me
but it looks like she has finally found a home- let's hope nothing happens in the next 36 hours and he comes as planned on sunday

OMGosh. How did you find them? I sure hope it's a good home and they really want her. Have you spoken with the couple?

the wonderful people at ACT posted her on there site for me
I have only met the son- he is about 40 and super nice - he came by- his parents live in NYC and don't drive-
his mother is coming with him on sunday
they just lost their cat (and their other son) so he wants them to have another companion
she will be in a great home- he was telling me how much his mom will spoil peanut- and she wouldn't be such a peanut anymore

This sounds great. I really hope the mom can come so you can get a feel for her. That would be very nice, they sound like perfect kitty parents!

Have you guys heard from the dirtbags that left her?
we heard from them.... the guy wants to come over and give us his sales pitch for his new job... finacial planning
not to pick up or even visit there pet!
they still want me to take her to a shelter- which I wont do
it's been 5 months- they have not come to see her, offered me a penny for food or litter
really nice people

You really are an angel for being so dedicated to this kitty. Kelly is right to say "these dirtbags". I agree. I would never associate with them again if I had the choice, if I were you. I have no respect for people like that .

thanks- I have no plans on ever seeing this people again
they were not friends- the guy worked for Jake and was the person that got Jake started in his career many years ago- so Jake felt that he should help him
I am glad we ended up taking her in- even though it hasn't been easy- I don't even want to think of what would have happened to her if we didn't

OMG! I have peanut in her carrier
otherwise when Shawn gets here in 30 minutes I will have to chase like I just did
and Maggie- is trying to free her
Maggie is the reason we had to find Peanut a new home
I knew after all the hissing and fighting
Maggie would be sorry to see her leave
or Maggie just wants to hang out in her carrier- Maggie is a rare animal that LOVES her carrier

Peanut has a new Home!
well- I was getting worried
he said he would call on his way
but he just came with his Mom
insantly fell in love with her
and Peanut is on her way to her new home!
I am happy for her!
I spent alot of time with her last night- making sure she was ok- but once the cage came out- she freaked- I have cuts everywhere
Maggie seems to be ok- I think she just wanted to get into the carrier- it's bigger then hers (we jokingly called it a double wide - b/c we called Maggies her Trailer)

I'm so happy you finally found her a home and you never gave up. You're such a good person to those furry friends. Do you other cats seem to miss peanut now?

I kind of do....she was such a mush ball - lap cat
and neither one of my 2 are
