Yup, I love it! We play texas hold'em with friends/family every few months. The last tourny we had I won ($100)!!
But, i'm too chicken to play in the casinos.

me too!
I learned in May of 05 in our friends' basement... after a while I started beating them all and it turned into "guys poker night"
I played a few times in the casinos - I always doubled my money. I'm a big fan of cash games - don't like tournaments at all.

I learned in 04 and I've been playing since. My dh takes me to poker places (shhhhhhhhhhh) lol and I hold my own. I won $1800 in 2 days.
In AC we like to play 3 card.
We should get a friendly poker game together. any takers?

i've never played in the casinos (i am too chicken  ) but i agree, cash games are much better than tournaments. i hate having to win it all or lose it all!!

Im a "Hold em" girl too! My sisters BF taught me how to play but Im a lil scared to play in the casinos. I play roulette and black jack to keep me occupied there.

Me I am a big gambler....I have played in World Series of Poker in AC and kicked some serious butts....we go to AC 2-3 a month.....
ETA: wanted to add that I play Holdem and Omaha as well as no limit (which I love)
