I have reason to believe they have now infiltrated and brainwashed my credit cards.
one of them leaped out of my pocket last night on my return from the supermarket...
thankfully one of my neighbors spotted it and came to my apt.
this war, is in no way, over...
bad bad keys... now you have to stay on your hook tonight instead of a nice warm poketbook as your punishment
and as for you credit cards do not follow your keys brother and sisters they will get you inot a whole lot of trouble

It's funny b/c I sat down to just write about how I lost my keys and something in me felt like writing with a little more *spice*

great great story Caroline! I have a vivid memory of being with my grandmother at age 3 and she dropped her keys down a sewer drain in Chicago. Glad that your son is laughing about it now!

hilarious!!!
I have been afraid of doing this myself on many occasions, which is why my little leather key ring has bite marks in it. I have often been spotted in my building pushing the baby in her carriage while carrying laundry with my keys dangling from my mouth like a dog. I don't write as well as you do so I just can't risk it.
