Black Tie Wedding: Are any of these appropriate?

I'm plus size and have a black tie wedding on June 7th. Do you think any of these are appropriate? If so, please vote for which one you like best.

ETA: It is a friend from work, and DH will most likely wear a black suit and dark tie (we're not renting a tux).

i like most of them, but for a black tie i don't think they are "enough", they'd be fine for a regular saturday night wedding, but not a black tie.

I like the first one. I think you can pull that off for a black tie, though I usually wear a full length black dress to those.

I think if the Black Lace one was full length, it would be the best choice. You def need a full length.

I guess I'd have to say #4 would be the most fit for a black tie.........however if it came even longer.......it would be PERFECT!!!

Re: Black Tie Wedding: Are any of these appropriate?

I think #4 would be great. My husband was in a wedding for his friend which was black tie. I wore a long black dress b/c I thought that was necessary but it wasn't. Lots of girls/ladies had knee length dresses, a lot black. So I think #4 would be perfect! I love #3 too, the hot pink!

I think the black one would be fine. I've been to many black tie weddings, and now the trend isn't always floor length dresses. Get the black one!

Black tie, doesn't mean your dress needs to be floor length....not anymore! I wore a 3/4 length dress to 3 black tie weddings last year and was completely appropriate. Everyone was not in floor length gowns.

I think you can wear these to a black tie wedding, but I myself would get a long dress because I'd be worried about being underdressed in a short dress, but that's just me being paranoid I think!
