Has anyone received thier Verizon free tV?
I called today because I miscounted and thought it had been ten weeks. Well It was 9 weeks tomorrow. So I say. "great, so I can expect the Tv this week then". I am off from work.. good timing.. "No" the nasty lady from verizon says, after I waited 30 minutes to talk to her, "We are giving it up to 15 weeks now". (BTW... she was soo NASTY from the minute I picked up the phone and I started off all sweet and nice. That didn't last long though.. the B!tch came out reall quicky in response to her attitude) I say, "that can't be, I was told 6 to 10 weeks. This tv is what finally convinced me to switch to Verizon. Is telling customers something false, verizon's way of saying Thank you?" SHe goes.. yeah our way of saying thank you is giving you a tv.. and it will take up to 15 weeks now. I say "Well can you give me an estimated delivery date?" She goes, "No I cannont predict what day the fed-ex guy will knock on your door" NAAASTYY.. So I go.. "No but I bet you can predict what day you will send it out". She goes "NO mam I cannot". AT this point I should have asked to speak to a supervisor to tell them how nasty she was being but I took the mature road and hung up
Yeah.. So tell me again what I gave up my channel 61 metro traffic and weather for??? ( I loved that channel

SO question. We ordered our sevice on Jan.1st., it was installed on Feb 5th and we validated our offer on the 19th. Has anyone else who switched to verizon after January received thier tv yet? I am beyone furious. Verizon should have known that TONS of peole would respond to this offer and they should have been prepared!!

Our FiOs was installed Dec 26. We validated our offer about 2 weeks later. Got a letter about a month ago from Verizon saying we're sorry the TV is goign to take a little bit longer. You can either get a different TV which will arrive in 4 weeks or the Best Buy gift cards and have those in 2 weeks or keep what you got and it will be a little while longer.
DH tried calling and all they keep saying is we're sorry. So I have no idea when our TV is suppose to come.
It's so fustrating. and unfortunately their is nothing anyone can do about it.

Their was definately no reason for that lady to be so rude. I think it was Hitatchi or something. It wasn't a real popular name and I think it was one of those "hey it's still a TV"
The TV's were a HUGE hit. They are worth more then the Best Buy gift cards. Then they were offering a digital camera for a short period of time and those were going real fast.
This is just ridiculous. I told DH you work for Verizon do something

My parents are still waiting on the TV - They had their Verizon installed the day after Thanksgiving! 
They keep getting the runaround when they call as well.
Unacceptable, IMO.

YEah it would. My Tv in my bedroom is smaller than 19inches and I have had it since 4th grade!!! I would love a dvd in my bedroom.

Good lord this is a sensitve subject around my house. WE never got the letter and had the service installed early november. Dh has been on the phone with Verizon every 2 weeks. WE get a different excuse every time.
I think the best excuse was that they fired that whoel department b/c no one was doing their jobs.
I'm not holding my breath.

We're putting ours in our guest room (which is going to be the nursery)
my mom is coming down to visit May 9th, I'd like to have it by then. hopefully.
