I just really need to hear it....
I'll start off by saying that I KNOW that I'm not technically out yet.
I tested today (10 dpo) and got a BFN.
I just really need people to help me understand why some people get their BFPs at 8 dpo, 9 dpo, 10 dpo...
If it's because of later implantation that I wouldn't get my BFP early.. does that mean I'm at a greater risk for early m/c?
I think I just need some comforting and positive thoughts right now. I'm feeling really down
I'm at that point where I cannot even FATHOM seeing TWO lines on the test.

I honestly believe that it's more uncommon to get a positive early than until after your period is late....I think we look for the ones that are early and disregard the ones that were positive at 14DPO+. Most of my friends didn't get a positive until 14+!!! There is still hope and you will get your BFP!!!!!

Re: I just really need to hear it....
Even when I got my BFP in February, the line at 11DPO was pretty light. It was even lighter at 12DPO (I would've tossed it as an evap or BFN if I hadn't had the BFP the day before). I wasn't until 14DPO that I got a real decent line. The fact that I got an okay line & then a barely there line the next day proves that even two test from the same brand & the same bo can vary in sensitivity. If you get a less sensitive test, you may not get that early BFP even if you implanted the same day & have the same levels as someone who does get an early BFP.
You can possible test BFN until 14DPO because of late ovulation, because the embryo isn't producing enough HCG just yet, & also I believe the concentration of HCG in urine can vary from woman to woman. Some women will have higher concentrations quicker than others.
I know it's frustrating. I feel like I'll never see another (sticky) BFP, but it WILL happen for all of us.

Re: I just really need to hear it....
The earliest I got a BFP was 13DPO. Remember- Bubbs didn't get her BFP until 4 days after AF was due! I think some ladies just produce more of the hcg hormone than others which is why they get early BFPs. Don't lose faith sweetie!! You are not out and it is still too early!! I know it is torture but wait it out... You WILL get to see two lines. I know you will!!

I honestly think it is rare to get a BFP before you are "technically" late....Most people who got their BFP that we know of, got them after AF. It is even clearly stated on the PG test instructions. To eliminate the false negatives, they tell you to NOT test until 16DPO. Also don't think bc you implant earlier or later gives you a higher risk of MC. I highly doubt that is the case.
I know someone that didn't O until CD32 & implanted very late...She has a healthy baby now....

TWO of my very best girlfriends who are now in their 7th month both didn’t get BFPs until their AFs were 7 days late…7 days!! I know how frustrated you are….but I will cross my fingers for you. try not to give up yet <3

Re: I just really need to hear it....
when i got my BFP at 10DPO it was sooooo light - i had to ask DH to come in and look to make sure it was a line. i didn't get a dark line until after i was late, about 13DPO (but i have a short LP).
i knew exactly when i implanted though, because i started cramping at 6DPO. late implantation (a few days) is NOT a sign of a potential for miscarriage. stop searching google!! implantation typically takes place from 6-12DPO but it can be earlier or later.
please don't worry - TONS of women on this board didn't get a BFP until they were several days late!
