I don't understand the negativity about it. I got one and it was a very nice thing to do and I had no reason to turn it down. I doubt any of us would turn away a nice gift with a nice intention. My husband did not know what it was called. He got me a gift, something that I liked. He wanted to thank me for having endured a rough few months. It's a baby shoe charm with pave diamonds.

I am more at the term "push present"....I think the idea is great but the name

I had a C-section so the name was not appropriate to me anyway. People come up with so many excuses to give gifts but this particular one takes a lot of backlash here on LIF. I have a piece of jewelry that DH got me, and it comforts me to wear it, esp. when I have to be away from my baby. It does not matter to me what anyone calls it.

DH got me one when I had DD. I was craving margaritas throughout my pregnancy, so when I arrived home, there was a Margaritaville Machine waiting for me in the kitchen.

And you bet your sweet a$s he better get me a Push Gift (despite being a c/s) for this pregnancy! The fact that I was his designated driver for 10 months and he had no qualms imbibing in front of me, he owes me!! And yes, I'm a tacky, greedy b*tch!!! (not that anybody has stated that...but it's what I would call myself. )
