I would LOVE to see Cirque du Soliel (sp?) but have no desire to ever go to an animal-y circus again. I just always thought it was boring... even as a kid. I hate clowns too, but not in a scared way... I want to punch their clown noses in. I think they're obnoxious. Sorry, I got carried away.

Clowns totally freak me out. One time DH and I were driving and there was a clown in the car behind us. Scared the **** out of me. I made him pull over and let the clown pass.
 That would be freaky.
How many clows were in the car 1 or 23?
Just one.
Seriously, thanks to whoever (too lazy to look ) posted those animal cruelty awareness websites. Maybe someday the circus will be a thing of the past.

my son will never be taken to the circus by me. DH knows how i feel about them. i think they are the ultimate in animal cruelty and i could never go to one again.i actually would join protests if i knew people doing them.
i went once in middle school and cried the whole time because even at that point in my life i knew more than i should have

yes, i boycott it due to animal abuse, but i am also scared of clowns......
I hate the circus because of clowns. My DH keeps asking to take the kids and I am like no way

I have to say that DH and I went to the circus several years ago, I had been before when I was younger, but never as an adult, and I did find myself feeling very depressed watching it. I felt so sad for the animals, I couldn't enjoy myself at all and I don't plan to ever go back (even when we have kids).
