Well, I find it fishy that she wants me to leave ALL of my proofs with her. She said she needs to be alone with them. What the hell does THAT mean????? I told JT that under NO circumstance is his mother to be "alone" with our proofs! We haven't made our albums yet, and I KNOW she would just be taking out all the pictures of his niece. She's really f-ing creepy. His niece is 7, almost 8, and she still carries her like a baby, and cradles her in her arms and FEEDS HER! And when JT's sister tries to get his mom to stop, she FREAKS out.

I have a pretty simple answer to this :Nobody watches until YOU are ready. Bottom line. End of story. I am really in awe as how your inlaws would even have the audacity to ask. In my opinion, they should know better.It's such a sensitive thing, maybe because I am speaking as someone who lost a parent as well. Take your own time and don't feel guilty about it.

They can wait until you are ready.

I totally agree that you and your DH MUST watch it FIRST & alone before anyone else sees it and that MUST be when YOU are ready to watch it not when THEY are ready to see it! TOUGH....THEY MUST WAIT!!!!!

Tell them you have not been ready to watch it but as soon as the two of you see it you will be sure to let them know.

BTW, did you pay for your wedding? (Video specifically)

Oh yeah! I totally paid for my wedding video and pics and theirs and most of the wedding. my parents gave in alot as well.
