I feel like I was watching a different show than the judges. I hated almost all their perfomances, especially the guy who butchered the Lionel Richie song.

I think Chikezie and Luke are going home. I think David Hernadez was awful but I think he's getting a lot of the girls and guys votes because they think he's cute.

Here is my take:
Luke Menard:  + = me. Bored and confused. If it wasn't for his Dylan McKay looks this Luke would've been a goner weeks ago.
David A: I can't wait til they make an action figure out of him so I can carry him in my pocket.
Danny Noriega: his girlish charm is distracting. He reminds me of this girl I work with. Been a bit of a train wreck, vocally.
Michael Johns:  total talented hottie. should've busted out some INXS tonight.
David Cook: no charismsa my @ss. I thought it was great.
David H: like this guy, but the Celine Dion cover was a bit of a turn off for me. If he pounded his chest and pointed in the air, I was turning the show off. Phew.
Jason Castro: I kinda just want to get H1gh w. him.

From Wikipedia: Meat Loaf has said the song was intended for Bat out of Hell II and given to the singer in 1986, but that they both decided to use "I'd Do Anything for Love (but I Won't Do That)" for Bat II, and save this song for Bat III.
In 1989, Steinman produced a concept album, Original Sin, with an all-female group called Pandora's Box. The album featured many tracks that would later be recorded by other artists, particularly Meat Loaf.

Just to put in my two cents:
Luke: Awful, pitchy, cruise-shippy. UGH!
David A: I love this song. I love him. Yay David!
Danny: make it STOP!!! I didn't mind him so much until this performance. It was a decent arrangement, but he is SO affected in all of his mannerisms. I don't know how much is real.
David H: I love this song, but did not like David's performance of it, which s*cks b/c I like him.
Michael: Great song choice. Breakfast Club baby! He doesn't impress me much though. He hasn't since the auditions. I just find him kind of generic.
David C: What a strange arrangement. Surprisingly, I kind of liked it. I know I'm in the minority, but I like him. He really made the song current.
Jason C: I absolutely love this song. It gives me the chills. I liked him already, but I now LOVE him for choosing this song.
(side note: Can Paula complete a full sentence about Jason?)
I just applauded when Simon praised him!
Chikeze: Boring song choice, but a decent vocal.
I actually like a lot of the guys. My votes to go home are Luke and either Danny or Chikeze, I guess. I kind of like everyone else, although Michael bores me a bit.

Ok...heres my rundown! 
Luke: Nice, nice guy. Easy on the eyes too but needs to go home on Thurs. Not good at all.
David A: I am one of those people out there who DOESNT like this kid too much. Hes good and hes sweet but hes ANNOYING. I do not think hes as good as people are making him out to be.
Danny: Ok..he is awful! Definately the sanjaya of this year..BUT...I find myself looking forward to him perform..more because I love watching him AFTER. He makes me laugh and although I think hes nuts, he just has me rolling!
David H: I love him. I love that song. But tonight, I didnt think he was that great at all. He needs more upbeat songs I think!
Michael: Love him! Probably because I think hes is SO SEXY!!!!!! He has a great voice and I think he did wonderfully tonight but theres something about him that just makes him different from the rest. Its almost like he doesnt belong there. I love that he seems so quiet though and that accent??? Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
David C: Ok..I HATED it when he first started. Then I liked it half way through..by the end, I was loving it! I think he should have not played the guitar though.
Jason C: He was definately the best tonight! I think he is so genuine and just so sweet. I think hes going to go really far!

I think most of the guys did really well last night. I think as a groups, they're stronger than the girls this year.
Luke: he should've been sent home weeks ago. He's boring and his vocals aren't great.
David A.: I think he's great. I liked his performance last week more than this week, but I look forward to hearing him each time.
Danny: he seems more interested in his "performance" than his vocals. He has a good voice, but he hasn't showcased it at all since he landed in the top 24. He needs to pick better songs or he's going to be sent home. I think he's in danger this week.
David H.: It was pretty good, but I think the song was too big for him. I preferred his performance last week.
Michael: love him. I think Bohemian Rhapsody was my favorite performance of his, but I enjoy watching him.
David Cook: I really liked his performance. It was different and unexpected. I think he's getting stronger each week.
Jason: he's different and I really enjoy listening to him. I'd like to see him do something a little different once in a while though.
Chikezie: it wasn't bad, but I don't think he's strong enough to last much longer. He'll probably go home this week. He has a nice voice and reminds me of Luther Vandross, but doesn't seem to have much personality when he sings.

I feel the same way you do about David A. DH really likes him and is rooting for him to win it all. He's cute and sweet and all but come on he's not that good...
