The Other Boleyn Girl UPDATE: with review
I'm going to see it tonight. I hope its good. I love the book. But, looking through the trailers, it seems to be hyping up the anymosity between Mary and Anne that wasn't in the book.
UPDATE: So I saw the movie. And lets just say, the title is the same as the book, the charachters have the same but the rest of it has nothing to do with the book, which was a bit disappointing.

I am so in love with this book and cannot wait to see the movie. Unfortunately I have to wait til 3/10 when the rest of my Boleyn-Heads are free... we have to see it together!
I want to sneak and see it tonight though-- I have been waiting years for this movie!!!!

I can't wait to see it either. I wanted to go this weekend but DH is digging in his heals, He doesn't want to go. My bestest friend Lisa (Lesse on LIF) is going to be in town next friday so I may wait and go with her. ....But if it snows tonight I may have a chance to go with DH. I really want him to see it because I can't believe that he wouldn't love it. I told him about the Phillipa Gregory books a thousand times so you think he would be intrigued..

crossing my fingers that Stephen keeps up the fight.
frank refuses to go...i may be that girl alone in the theatre on sunday.

I probably won't see it until next weekend. While I'm looking forward to seeing it I don't have high hopes of it being as good as the book.
It was supposed to be out at the end of 2007 and the fact that it got pushed into 2008 makes me think it's not that fabulous since they didn't make it in time for Oscar time.

i saw the movie last night. The central characters of the book are the same. But the order that things happen, are very different. So many details were left out, or switched. I was not happy they didnt stick to the book thru and thru, yet i admit i did love the movie. I thought natalee portman did a real good job, and eric bana is well just HOT  .
