Betting on Baby
So my office started the "Baby Pool" today. And get this - it's "pay to play." $2 per guess - you need to pick a date that you think  will be born, gender and weight will be used as tie-breaker. One dollar goes to the one who guesses correctly and one dollar goes to baby! WOO HOO! I think all the males in my office are still in football withdrawal and are looking for any reason to make a bet!

They are having so much fun with it! I am getting all these questions now - what does the doctor think? Did he tell you estimated weight, does he think you will go early, etc.
I think I will sit out on the betting though - I feel strange waging $ on my own ! LOL!

That's really cute b/c you usually hear about the winner getting the entire pot and never a portion for the baby. I love that!

We did the same exact thing when my sister was preggo with #1. Except my DH won the bet and instead of taking his share he gave it to the baby. So, the baby got the whole pot.

I was just asked to write up the sheets today too. My office is getting ready. We have ballers over here though. There talking about $10 a guess.. crazy people.

That's great! My family did something very similar...$5 per bet, but they only bet on the date, and then the time if anyone chose the same date. It makes it even more fun when those around you have bets going!
