When you get your BFP, how will you...??

... tell DH? Are you going to do it in a special way or just shout it from the rooftops??

I would like to do something special like give him a gift that explains that I am pregnant. Maybe wrap up the HPT

My pregnancy test will be a blood test b/c I'm doing IVF in 3 weeks. DH will be with me when I get the phone call from the drs. office. There will be no cutsie surprises.

I would like to do it in a cutsie way too. But I just dont know if I could hold it in because I love telling him everything as soon as I find out. (hence the reason I call him on the phone at least 4x a day! )

I am not really the cutesy type... Maybe will do something cute for the grandparents-- but for DH, I'll probably just yell from the bathroom.

Well!!!! Honestly, I'd like to make it special. DH got me really good when he proposed and I've always told him that I am going to get him BACK when I find out we were pregnant.

Here's my idea and it totally might not work because I call DH 6 times a day and tell him everything too. He is also really impatient and will want me to take a test all the time!

Idea....
DH is an Air Traffic Controller and works at a really tall tower on base. The area isn't off limits on base as it is at regular airports. I am going to be below the tower with a HUGE sign saying his name and then CONGRATS! You're Gonna Be a Daddy!!! I'm gonna call up to the tower and have them put me on speaker as I have him look out the window down at my sign. This will take much coordination though and that is going to be a pain in the butt but I'm sure I'm get some of the Marines up there to help me. I hope it works!!!

For the family:
I'm going to have bibs made that say things like #1 Grandma to Be, #1 Aunt to Be and things like that and mail them out in little boxes.

My MIL is an amazing woman and I am probably as close to her as I am my mother so I'm going to have flowers sent to them with a card breaking the news.

AGAIN!! These are all ideas and they might totally flop because of my BIG mouth!!!

I had it planned for last month (then TBAF showed up),

But I have a cute little baby gift bag, with baby booties, washcloths, and a bib that says "I love my Daddy"...

So if (hopefully when) I get my BFP this time, I'll surprise him with that. I get him up in the morning, so I'll go & POAS, then hand him that gift.

The first time I got PG, I bought pink and blue balloons and changed the wallpaper on his computer to the pic of the PG test and it said something like "I Love You Daddy."

Sadly it was a chemical. The second time I got PG, he saw the test so no surprise - another m/c. The third time - THIS time, again, no surprise.

I feel awful that because of our circumstances, he missed out on HIS moment and though he is thrilled that we are PG, there needs to be something special for HIM too. Since I am having an amnio next month, I will know the sex of the child before he will and will make THAT announcement special for him. Now I have to figure out how to do that.

Our DD was unplanned & I knew he wasn't going to be happy, so I called him & told him over the phone.

With this pregnancy, I was hoping to have at least a special moment to tell him. Instead, he kind of guess when I walked out of the bathroom with a look on my face repeating over & over to myself "I think I'm seeing things. I've gone crazy..." He went into the bathroom & said "Nah you're not crazy. It's light but I see it too."

If I ever get a BFP again ( ) I'm aware that if I test when he's home I will probably run out of the bathroom, test in hand screaming. If he's not home, I'm hoping I can at least find a cute way to tell him later that night.

I bought DH 2 baby bibs...one in pink and one in blue that said "I love Daddy." I wrapped them up in a cute gift bag and I told him that i picked up a gift for him at the store. When he opened them, he almost fell over! I'm happy I held it in long enough to go to the store and get the bibs. It wouldn't have been the same if I just showed him the test and told him.

The funny thing is that DH is a twin..so when he opened 2 baby bibs, he thought I was telling him that we were having a boy and a girl. I had to ease him mind at first and tell him that, as far as I knew..there was only one. He didn't believe me until after the doctor confirmed that there is only one.

not exactly sure. I probably won't be able to hold out and will call him right away. SIL texted a picture of the Pregnancy test to him for the first one, second one wasn't really planned and (our niece was 1 at the time) so she said she threw the test at him

I'm going to take DH to Argyle Park in Babylon. He was going to propose to me there but his friends talked him out of it.

When we get our BFP, I would like to surprise DH with some cutesy way. I just want him to have a special moment just like when he propsed to me I have a few things in mind but not 100%

Well when we first started trying last baseball season I bought the cutest little METS onesie and the book my boys can swim...I don't know if the book is appropriate anymore but I haven't looked at the book or onesie in a very long time...I don't know if I'll be able to hold it in when I finally get my BFP...I'll probably just start crying and he'll know why.

I have a special desktop background saved on my computer that I will put on his laptop when the time comes. It has a stork carrying a baby in a pink and blue blanket. On the picture it says "Special Delivery Expected In Due Time" I plan on pasting a pic of my + HPT test (whenever I get it) to the the desktop picture.

I want to try to make the announcement cute....i have a big mouth and dont know if i'll be able to pull it off....BUT my plan is to make a t-shirt that says Future (Yankee, Giants depending on the sport season)Fan with arrows pointing to my belly.

We want to tell all of our family at the same time so we think when we get our BFP we will have them all over for dinner and give them a card that says "you're going to be a grandma/aunt/uncle/etc" and a picture of the sonogram on the inside

I want to buy this onesie cause he is straight from Poland and I am italian and we always joke about it... so I thought this would be cute
