sxpeaking of constipation...
Is there anything we can just take?
I'm pretty positive this is my issue, but not sure if I need a trip to the doc. I will call them, of course, but if I can avoid an internal, I would be happier.

Try weight watchers pita breads. I usually cut them open and then stick them in the toaster with a slice of cheese to melt it.
It's got 9 grams of fiber and should help out anything clogged 
Fiber One Honey Cluster cereal is also a good choice. 14g of fiber for one serving and it doesn't taste like cardboard!

If coffee isn't doing the trick, then cereal won't help.

I swear by my metamucil at night and in the AM i have...Flax seed in my oatmeal it kind of looks like wheat germ ......works like a charm!

the only thing that has helped me is radical diet changes.... I have a high fiber diet as well (lots of veg and fruits).... still get constipated. coffee does absolutely nothing to help my cause...
my radical diet change: one night, I had giant bowl of mini wheats... and followed it up with 2 servings of stewed prunes for dessert.
12 hours later, all was well 
I'm fairly certain that meal provided much more fiber than any fiber drink could.....

Colace works really well and is sensitive enough that it doesn't hurt your tummy.... good luck, i'm beginning to feel your pain and will be taking my own dose of Colace tonight
