Spinoff to the 12-21-2012
If that was the last day on earth. Knowing we didn't have much time left..What would you change in your life? If we knew a definite date ahead of time how do you think people would change worldwide..with war etc.
I definetly wouldn't want to know what day would be the end..but I do think it would change my thinking.. I would travel a lot more, spend more money and not worry about debt..Stop worrying about stupid things and spend more time with friends and family. I would live more in the present moment.

honestly--if the world knew when the last day was--i'd think it would complete and total anarchy....like everyone would be "living in the moment" and it would be nuts! price gouging would be rampant and i think people would be just going crazy.
i would try and enjoy my last years on earth but at the same time i'd be worried about my safety from all the crazies out there.

I'd move to some island (maybe even long island) rack up the c/c bills (b/c at this point, who cares about debt!) and just enjoy margaritas, sunsets and sex!

ITA. I think if the end of the world was an absolute known date, all mankind would be gone long before that. There are really no consequences for any actions in that case. A "life term" in jail is less than 5 years. Might as well steal whatever you can, and kill anyone who tries to stop you. Companies would go bankrupt, companies that didn't go bankrupt would lose all their employees, then go bankrupt (why work if you knew the world was ending). With nothing being made, and nobody working, everyone would have to steal from everyone else.
