I watched that show last night b/c I was so busy cleaning and doing stuff...DH had it on and I thought it was so boring.

actually it is a date the the mayans have predicted, but its not that they just stopped counting that day. i saw a show about them, they were so advanced with astronomy, ahead of even where we are today. supposedly, we are going to be entering into a "dark" part of the galaxy on that day, the middle or something and they expect that to be the end. we shall see... but if its true, nothing i can do about it except live my life to the fullest!

It's when the Mayan calendar just stops. No reason, no explanation. Some theorize that they calculated the end of mankind & that it is that day.
They probably got tired of making a calendar so far in advance and said "Eh, screw it...the world will never last that long anyway"
