My coworker is obsessed with 12-21-2012
My coworker is obsessed over this end of the world story for 12-21-2012..
Every person he sees he tells them about what he saw on TV last night. He even called his friends. He taped it and is offering it up to everyone.

What is he planning on doing about it? It just seems so absurd to me. I remember all the talk and drama around the millenium and well, nothing happened.

It's not like this is the first end of the world prediction. People only put stock in it (as opposed to the dozens of other dates that have passed without the world ending) b/c this date hasn't come to be yet.
