HELP!! My computer was infected w/ a trojan
I inevertantly downloaded some porn bc im a dumbazz and it opened up under a search and i hit all the wrong buttons etc etc and now my computer is infected and this friggin warning pops up EVERY SIGLE TIME I HIT SOMETHING ONLINE!!!
Please...how do i get rid of this???????

If not download a free one. I like AVG free antivirus. Here's the link.

Hubby suggests a system-restore to a date prior to d/l it.
Under Start, all programs, accesssories, system tools, systems retore.
You will lose all downloads posts that date. But it should help.

That won't work. All it does is turn back some of the Windows files. It won't turn back the entire computer, so all that will happen is that the virus is still there, but now some things may not work correctly on top of what the virus is doing.
Your best best is several anti-virus, and adware tools. Any one tool gets about 90% of what's out there. You really need at least two tools to get pretty much everything. Even then, some viruses/adwares need specific tools to get rid of them.
You can get viruses from non-porn sites as well. Pretty much anywhere and everywhere. There was a large company (don't remember which one), that sent out software to customers, and they found out it had a virus on it....
