Did they say anything about your uterus feeling enlarged, I remember on one of my p/g's not seeing anything but my Dr. saying my uterus felt right for 5 weeks.(Whatever that means?)

Hang in there hun!! it is all going to work out. Happy thoughts happy thoughts!! I will keep you in my prayers. I could only imagine how you feel. I would be freaking out as well. but we know it is early so keep that in mind.

I had my first sono at 4w5d and my uterus was empty as well. It was too early to see at that point. I am now 31 weeks...

Don't cry..... it really is too early to see anything - most doctors don't want you to come in before 8 weeks for this very reason I imagine.
Don't lose hope. You are still getting a postive pregnancy test so your hormones are registering something!

When I was pregnant with my DD, I had a sonogram at just over 5 weeks to check on my uterus. After a few minutes, the tech looked up & said "Are you SURE you are pregnant?" It took him a lot of searching to eventually find the baby. It definately could've been too early to see anything.

I had my first sono at 5 weeks, they asked me if I was sure I was pregnant, and then said I must be off with my dates, because there was no way I was 5 weeks, they didnt see anything...I made an appointment with another doctor a week later I saw the baby and heard the heartbeat I am no w 19 weeks...
Chin up, I know how scary it is, but it was just too early

Thank you so much everyone. You are all making me feel so much better. I will get my blood test results tomorrow and then I see the doctor on Monday for another blood test and u/s. Hopefully Monday will be better! Thank you all for the much needed support. I really appreciate it.

ITA with most that 5 weeks is really eary...my Dr. didn't want me in until I was at least 8 weeks...by the time I made the appointment I was 11weeks so that was good but 5 is really early to see something..I will for you...Good luck and I pray all works out

I think 5 weeks is too early. I had miscounted my weeks and went at 6 weeks and she just saw the start of a sac. She sent for a more detailed sonogram at 8 weeks to figure out if this pregnancy was good and how far along I was. I went then and everything looked great. My doctor won't see people until 7 weeks for the exact thing that you are going through. She says anything before 7 weeks is too early.
Try to remain positive and I hope you get better news tomorrow.

This was part of the reason that my OB never allowed any patients in before 7-8 weeks.. their reasoning is because there is "nothing" there.
I pray that this is just too soon to tell !!

ITA 5 weeks may be way to early. Most doctors offices including my own will see you at 8 weeks because you most likely cant see much prior.

When I got my BFP I was only 17 days and they did a sono 3 days later and they estimated me being about 4-5 weeks and there was a cicle with nothing in it, i did blood work every other day for that week (3 days worth) and the levels got higher each timeand so far now all is well so be hopeful it's probably just too early.
