'Tis better to give, or to receive?
Which do you like better, giving or receiving gifts?
For me, I honestly like giving better. Nobody gets me exactly what I want (it's not their fault, I'm just very particular about some things), but I love researching other people and getting things that they truly want or need, and see the reaction on their faces. I'm usually pretty good at that.

Not that I don't love presents, but I'd MUCH rather give than receive. I LOVE finding the perfect gift people and love giving people presents.
I sometimes find opening / receiving presents myself to be awkward. I have NO idea why. Having to open presents at my bridal shower was really weird for me, as was the entire idea that there was a whole party JUST for the purposes of giving me gifts. Maybe I'm weird like that.

to be honest, now that i have a kid I love seeing her happy when i can give her something that me and her dad work so hard for, but in general I'm a generous person and i like to give things to those that i love.

I love giving presents but I also like receiving them in return. For me though, I have 3 beautiful nephews, so it is all about getting them the "perfect" gifts & watching them open them. The smiles & happiness gives me the best feeling I could ask for

i chose both because i am really not the best gift giver, but i love to find something i HOPE that person will love. if they do, i feel fantastic about giving!
on the other hand, my mother and friends always give great gifts - sometimes things i didn't even know i wanted! - so i LOVE receiving.
