Does your last name start with an "A"?

if so, i have a weird question. i'm getting used to my married name that begins with an A.

i'm almost embarassed, but i hate writing in script and i'm having a hard time with the capital A.

when signing your name, do you use the proper "cursive" A (which is really a large lower-case a) or do you use the print A which looks just as it's typed.

i know i know, more important things to worry about

I just got married in May and my new last name begins with an A. I use and upper case cursive A when signing.

I always used the cursive "A". My maiden name started with A.

I have the same problem with my new "I".

First off, everyone thinks it's an "L" if its typed in Arial because there are no feet to it. And that's how our office has all its type.

Second, to sign it - it is really hard and I end up doing a cursive thing that again, probably looks like an "L" --- my first name is an "L" so I try to make them look completely different to make it work but still...it looks like a lower case "L" unless I do a block letter....

My maiden name started with an A. I always used the proper "cursive" A

My first name starts with A and I sort of created my own letter!

I start in the lower left swirl up to a point and then down and the back up and across to the left with a little loop to the next letter.

My last name starts with an A and I print the A - I never use the proper script A.

I was just saying yesterday how I find it difficult to "rock" my new signature bc my last name now begins with an O


The funny part is now my initials are NO
and that is how I sign credit reciepts

My married last name starts with an A, I sign it but not cursive, it's a scripted printed A. Now the rest of the name- just one long line, hehe. I can't sign.

I use the proper A, the one that looks like a big lower case A.

I have this same problem with my initials and E ....At my job, I sign my initials a lot. However, my initials are EE and it kinda doesn't go into each other. I just made up my own kinda letters!

My name doesnt start with A, but my handwriting is a hybrid of cursive and print - so knowing me, I would probably use the regular print capital A, and then the rest in print

My DH's name is Angelo, and when he signs his name on checks or wherever, he does use the cursive capital a...

My last name ends with a "z" and I can't do a lower case script Z so I just do a sqiggle. It's harder with the first letter I guess.

I have lived all my 27 years with my last name

I dont write the cursive A

I love the way i write my name, i wish i could show you on here

My first Name starts with an N

So the A and N are written very very simlar, kinda like an upside down V

I write my name in lower case cursive "a" but I do add a little funkyness to my signature where it almost doesn't look like an "a" but more like an '"o"
