It took 2 months... My first cycle off the pill, I got AF after 21 days, my second cycle was 26 days and after that every 29 days... Although I know it is the opposite for a lot of women when they stop the pill. It can take 30+ days to get their first AF after stopping the pill.

I was on the pill for 5 years and got pregnant my first cycle off the pill.........

I was lucky and my 1st month off the pill my cycle was 25 days, and then for the next two months it was 24 days. I used OPKs from the beginning and I O'd the 1st month. I got pg the 3rd month off BCP (Our 1st month trying).

If you go off the pill, be prepared that you can get pregnant right away. If you want to go off and "regulate" your body for some reason, then use back up protection.

That being said, I went off the pill on July 21, 2006, got AF July 27, 2006, got pregnant on August 13, 2006 and got my BFP on August 26, 2006. DS was born April 26, 2007.

When I asked my OB if it was "bad" since I was on the pill for 6 years prior to that, she said that as soon as you stop the pill the hormones are out of your body within 24 hours.

My cycles were regular right off the pill. I got pg the second month off them. I was on them for 9 years on and off.

I was pretty good. The first two months off the pill I had 33 day cycles. Then on the 3rd month I had a 28 day cycle. I think it really depends on your body. Everyone responds differently when they come off the pill. Just take the plunge and join the TTC board!

As soon as I went off the pill, I got my period in about 26 days. With the exception of this past month (a full year later) I have been regular ever since.

I got pregnant 7 days after I got AF off the pill.

My cycle never changed. It stayed the same, just recently it is off by a day but thats it. I went of the pill about 2 yrs ago.

After 34 days I got my period. After that it ranged from 26-29 days.

my dr. told me to go off about 3 months before we wanted to start to try... after going off, my cycles were super long (50+ days) and before being on the pill i was always pretty regular. I really wish i had gone off sooner. My cycles were still not regular when we got our BFP.

stopped in april.....dr told me to wait 3 months to ttc and we just started ttcing this month....very regular since i stopped in april....27 dya cycles....neverrrr was like that before the pills i was actually verrrrry irregular sometimes 30 daycycles sometimes 40day cycles it was like my body did what it wanted and af showed up when she felt like it so i guess the pills did something to change my cycles

1st month off was 30 days. next 2 months were 27 days on the dot. got my BFP the 4th month

I am one of the few that did not have a good experience. My cycles were very irregular (ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months). My hormone levels were not where they should have been. People say the pill only masks issues you already have, but I was very regular before taking the pill, so who knows. Most people will tell you they went back to normal right away. After about 15 months, my body still was not adjusted. I (luckily) got pregnant about 15 months after stopping the pill.

I have been off BC since January. I never really regulated. I varied between 25-46 days cycles for 9 months and I got a BFP in September. I was never regular before BC, so I did not really expect to be after coming off it.

After being on the pill for over 10 years, I went off it over 3 years ago (not intending to get pregnant). It took my body about a year to regulate. I went from 13 day cycles to 45 day cycles during that time.

That said, when it came time for us to ttc I got pregnant right away.

Well I finally got AF after 37 days we will see what next month brings. But I have heard lots of stories of people getting pregnant their first month off.

Seven months later and my cycle is still not the same as before or during the bcp. Everyone's body reacts differently.
