*What kind do you use/recommend?

i use laura mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer

I use the same thing in the summer months and do not use moisturizer before hand.

I used to use Estee Lauder's sheer tints for years and now I started using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer and have been pleasantly surprised with how wonderful it it. it's very light, doesn't leave your skin oil (I have combo skin) and it makes your skin look radiant. I love it and would def recommend it to anyone!

I also use the Neutrogena tinted moisturizer and no other moisturizer before that. I mix the Neutrogena with a little bit of regular foundation for a little more coverage, like 2/3rds moisturizer and 1/3 foundation.

Same here. The Laura Mercier person told me that if you have dry/normal skin that you should use a regular moisturizer as well. If you have skin that tends to be on the oily side, she said you can skip the moisturizer.

I actually take my own moisturizer and add foundation to it in my palm. This way, i can control the coverage.

I also use Stila tinted and I also love it, I don't use another moisturizer with it. I just ordered Neutrogena Tinted from Drugstore.com.
