excercising while you are TTC'ing...
Hi
What is your feeling and take (doctors recommendations) on still excercising while you are TTC'ing... and if you become pregnant is it ok to still excerise?
I am new to this whole thing so sorry if anyone thinks my q's are silly...

these are not silly q's!!
if you already exercise regularly and you don't have a high risk PG, then you are fine, so long as the exercises aren't overly strenuous or involve ab exercises, heavy lifting, etc. definitely check with your doctor though. as for exercising during the TWW, there are no restrictions that i know of unless you've had an IUI or IVF.

I felt the same as you before my BFP. I thought to myself, why stop living my life if I'm TTC so I decided it was time to live my life as usual until I got a BFP. The only life changing decision I made was to stop drinking. I would drink on some weekends when DH and I would go out for dinner or to a bar.
I began working out again as I began to slack. The first day I started working out again I felt as if I was struggling and couldn't understand why. I thought it was because it was a few months since I last worked out and just thought I was out of shape. It was as if my body wasn't even moving, so odd. So, I continued to push myself well I came to find out later that week that I was pg!!
I asked my doctor if I could continue working out, she advised me to take it easy until I finish the first trimester. She said walking slowly on a treadmill would be okay but that is pretty much it for now.

You can and should workout during ttc. As far as being pregnant and working out, you just should not begin a new workout program - for example, if you were not a runner prior to being pregnant, you should not decide to start running when you become pregnant. Unless a dr tells you otherwise, you should continue what you are doing, you just might need to cut back on the intensity when pregnant. good luck.

ohhhh Thank you ladies!!! This is our first month TTC ing ~ so I go see my GYN on Thurs for a check up and discuss me going to a new OB GYN... so I will not doing anything until I chat with her (just in case we are this month which is probably unlikely since it is our first month trying) I really appreciate all your help!
I actually used to work out 5 days a week up until a month ago (was being lazzzzy)
