Show me your brick fireplaces
Looking for some ideas to change ours up a bit.....we have a brick fireplace with a wooden shelf on it.....I was looking for something else i could put in its place that would go.
Edited to add that we ripped the shelves and cabinets out...closed the window on the left and put in wood floors. Oh and the wood burning stove was removed too and the wooden beam on the ceiling was taken down. Very strange previous owners. Image Attachment(s):

In my album under downstairs you can see what we did with ours. I am not sure if you want to keep the brick or get rid of it but it may give you an idea.

We are in the process of adding granite around the opening and installing doors but you get the idea
