Ladies that were on BC Pills-Help
How long did it take for you to get on a regular cycle? I've been off since late July. One cycle was 47 days and my last cycle started on Sept 20th. No sign of AF and a recent blood test confirmed a BFN. It's making me nuts!

I went off BCP in June. Cycles have been 35 days, 31, 36 and 31. So, not very regular. It's very frustrating! I've heard it can take up to a year for your cycles to regulate coming off BCP, and that's if your cycles were regular before.

my doctor said it could take up to a year for your cycle to adjust itself after coming off BC.

i went off BCP the beginning of august (8th)
got AF september 27 and no signs as of right now
ive been charting but dont see any signs of "O"

I have been off for 2 months and think my body is starting to regulate, cause I had a 24 day cycle this month and normaly I am on a 21-23 day cycle. It varys for everyone but my old gyno told me it would only take a month to get fertile after going off the pill.

I don't think you can really go by anyone else's experience, because everyone's body is different, but I went off the pill after being on it for 9 years. The first month was 29 days, the second was 30, the third was 32 and then I was preggo.

My doctor said 3 months to start to get back to regular, but I'm sure everyone's body is different. Although my cycles were regular right away in terms of the length, I had a lot of spotting for maybe the first 5 months off.

I have been off the pill since May & my cycles have yet to regulate. They seemed to be starting to but then I had a 42 day cycle last month! This month, it seems I am back to 30. It is fustrating so hang in there

Well - I have been olvulating. My first cycle off BCP - AF was 2 weeks early. Then I have been 27 days and 31 days so far.

I went off at the end of May and mine still isn't right. My first cycle was 36 days then 28......
Now AF has only been lasting for about 4 days instead of the usual 7. I was supposed to get AF yesterday and she is still a no show  After almost 5 1/2 months, it is still not back to normal.

1st month off: 40 days
2nd month off: 28 days
3rd month off: 29 days
4th month off: ovulated on day 14, so looking to be around 28/29.
Everybody is different though and what pills you were on.
i was on triphasil 1st time i went off the pill a couple of yrs ago and cycle was normal immediatly.
This time I was on the generic brand trivora and didnt regulate for a month and ovulation symptoms didnt add up for month 3.
Good luck, a little patients. I know it is hard!

My cycles were pretty regular for the first few months coming off the pill, then got longer, then disappeared completely.
Give it some time, hopefully your body will get itself in sync.

Thanks so much for all of the advice ladies 
We really aren't TTC (then again we're not doing anything to prevent it) so I'm glad I went off BC when I did. It looks like it might take longer to regulate myself than expected

That is exactly what I was going to write. I was always regular, since going off the pill in mid-July I have had 2 periods. The first took 59 days, and the second 47....I wish I had gone off a year ago if I knew it was going to be screwed up!
