linen white vs. navajo white

Your thoughts?

I only wish I were kidding.

Anyone used both colors have a preference or anything to say about them?

I used China White and Linen White.

China had more of a grey tone to it.
Linen was a warmer shade with yellows.

Apart it is so hard to tell..but in one corner the colors meet...and I can see the difference....But I am also crazy!

I just painted a big part of my house Navajo white...literally this week and love it. I think linen had more yellow...navajo had more creme in it. Tough to describe but I do love the navajo.

I used Najavo white and I hated it. It had a yellow undertone which looked horrible next to other whites (bath vanity, toilet, etc). I painted over it with Super white and love it so much more.

I am not a fan of the Najavo.

I have Navajo White in my nursery above the chairail(see album). It def has a cream undertone because my DD's bedding has a cream background and it matches. For trim we use Dove White-that's what the chairail, doors & crown molding are painted HTH

My apt building actually uses China White as its stanard color for every room in apartments except for the bathroom, which is Navajo White. Navajo White is definitely a warmer color, like a very very light tan. China White, to my eye, is just a basic white. Hope that helps

I love Navajo White. I'm not familiar with Linen White, but Navajo has a very slight yellow/tan undertone. It depends where you are going to use it though--as someone noted, it might not go so well with other white items.

China White I had in an apartment once. I never cared for it--it had cool undertones, and I guess I like warmer colors, but to each their own.

We have navajo white in our LR and I love it! It's a very subtle light beige. We had linen white in a guest bdrm and hated it - we just had the room re-painted because I disliked it so much. It had a yellow undertone I didn't like.
