J & R's is open in Medford...
We went for dinner tonight and it was good....so happy there is a decent, not too expensive restaurant right around the corner.
This area (Medford) is like a barren wasteland for decent restaurants.

i wouldnt say a barren wasteland. Mangia Mangia is right across the street and is pretty good for Italian food. The Brickhouse Brewery is also across the street. But good to know that J&Rs is now open

I'm talking about Medford, not Patchogue - there are good restaurants in Patchogue
It's in Medford where the Landmark Grill used to be. I'm not sure if there is a party room.
BTW, DH knows the GM and he told us that the Patchogue location is opening late December/January.
