Im afraid that...
im going to become obsessed
We are not even TTC yet but if you saw my post a few dyas ago, i f-ed up my BC Pills this month and had LOTS of sex and BCP website said i might not get AF this month bc i missed so mnay pills.
So...today i tested to get a read on things so if AF doesnt turn up, its bc i messed up and not bc Im PG.
ANYWAY- i was disappointed when it was BFN and i KNEW it would be.
So....when the time of TTC really does happen, I am going to obsess. I KNOW IT!!!!!! How do you girls handle it??

This month has been full of ups and downs. I want to test, but the feeling of disappointment really gets to me.
If it was a bfn tonight, then I would convince myself it is too early, and would obsess all over again.

Yep and thats ALREADY how im feeling bc i think it was still too early to test for this time and so i KNOW im gonna do it again in afew days. AF is due Saturdayish

I know what it is like to be a person of an obsessive nature. When I want something so badly and I cant have it when I want it, it hurts, but I have a life to lead and if I allow TTC to get the best of me, I am likely to withdraw and not be a functional member of society. I simply cannot afford to do that. I have someone in my life who relies on me as much as I rely on him. I cannot fall apart. This is how I get through my disappointment. You just have to be strong sometimes.

I went 1 cycle au natural. When my cycle wound up 37 days, I honestly gave into the obsession, it was just easier than pretending I can be one of those (amazing, may I add) women who just "see what happens". I figured it was better to be fully obsessed for a cycle or so than to be secretly fully obsessed for a while. I started digital OPK's and temping cycle 2 (which was 48 days, so I'm very glad I did) and lo and behold... BFP

yep, I hear ya. Just started TTC and I'm already getting anxious . I've been using OPK's and BD every other day

It's really easy to become obsessed and soley focus on the BFP. I force myself to move on every month when AF comes. I never thought I would become obsessed with getting pregnant. However, once I realized that it wasn't going to be easy for me, the obsession kicked in. Sometimes you just have to try your hardest to not obsess and focus on other things.
