what can you take for a cold?
i am miserable.. i have been rubbing vicks vapor rub on my chest taken hot showers what can i take im DYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the worst cold too!!!!  One of my friends is an ob nurse and she said to take regular tylenol every 4 hours. You can take as much of that as directed and it is fine! She said if you HAVE to take sudafed...but try not to! She said drink plenty of liquids and if my fever goes over 100.6 to call the Dr. immediately! I'm only 6 weeks, and it's my first 'pregnancy cold', so that's about all I have!

I'm just getting over a bad cold (yea! for the beginning of a new school year!). I stuck with tylenol, rest, and fluids. I hope you feel better!

me too....after hearing so many mixed things from the dr. and pharmacist about what to take I opted just to get the saline nasal spray, use the vaporizer and sleep ALOT.

My Dr said I could take plain robitussin. The one with no anti-histamines.

I have the worst cold since Friday...I actually just came on here to see what I can take for it because it's killing me. (Why call the doctor when you have LIF?)

my doctor told me tylenol or one sudafed. she also said one tylenol pm if i can't sleep due to the cold.
