I don't have my parents so I have been adopted by my dh's family, I think they would do more for me then him... I am very lucky!

I'm not a big phone person anyway, so I NEVER call any of the in-laws just to chat. I do e-mail my MIL frequently.
This is exactly me!
I truly love my inlaws, but I am not a phone person in general. I dont even like talking to DH on the phone ( ) So I rarely if ever call my inlaws (unless I need to discuss something or ask a question that needs an anwer ASAP) .
I do email back/forth with my MIL at least 1-2x a week . Maybe a little less with all 3 of my SIls.. email is the way I pretty much keep in touch with EVERYONE

I don't call anyone jsut to chat, excpet my own mother.
I never clal my in-laws, If we need to make plans, or something, DH calls.
I don't have any bils or sils.

I usually call & check in with my MIL at least once or twice a week!

I adore my husband's family.
FIL- I don't call him to chat but if I call the house I'll talk to him.
MIL- I talk to her often. A few times a week.
I talk to my SIL just about every day. We are very close.
BIL- I don't call him unless i have a question or something like that.

EX-MIL --- she is in Spain and I call her at least once a month. I miss her!! We used to speak nearly every day when I lived there.

I may call one of my SIL's to chat, but that is it. If they call us and I answer the phone, then I talk to them. I never initiate the call and I actually don't know why.

I never ever call my MIL. I always feel like I should. We get along and if she calls the house, we talk for a little while. But we never just call each other. When she calls the house, it's for Tom.

1. Call thier FIL - NEVER!!
2. Call thier MIL - NEVER!!
3. Call thier SIL or BIL - NEITHER MY BIL OR HIS WIFE ON DH'S SIDE. I'D RATHER TALK TO SCOTT PETERSON (TELLS YOU HOW MUCH I DESPISE THEM). I don't talk to my oldest brother's wife but I do talk to future SIL and my sister's husband on a regular basis.

I was just thinking about this. I never do and I feel kind of bad about it. However, they call DH on his cell phone and never call me. I wish we had the kind of relationship where that was a normal occurrence though.

Never. I really like everyone, but I'm not really a phone person. However, if MIL or DH's siblings call DH, I sometimes get on the phone and speak with them.

3. BIL AND FSIL- Once a week (this has picked up in the last three months. Gotten close with BIL and FSIL. They call a lot. I rarely call them though- have the baby)
