FYI Madonna 11.5 wk to 13wk sono....
They called me today to confirm my appt for tomorrow. It is an internal and external exam. It takes about 20 minutes and then they have to prick my finger and take blood. I also have to drink 12 ounces of water on my way there.
This is Madonna in Babyon....

yes, I had mine yesturday, the wait was more than the actual appointment.
It was external first for all fetal measurements and then internal for the cervix and ovaries.
And my fingertip is bruised from the squeezing they did to get the blood.
ETA: I did not go to the Madonna in Babylon

thank you so much for letting me know that the wait is long. I didn't realize that when I made the appt my DD is off from school. she is 7. I also have my DD #2 is 4 months. I have no one to watch them. i am going to ask DH to work from home for a couple of hours.

I just had my Ultrascreen done at Madonna (Babylon office) this past Monday and they didn't have to do an internal.
It all depends on whether they can get the measurements from the external alone.
I don't believe my Ultrascreen with DD required an internal either.

wow - that;s interesting...I never heard that . With my son (in January) - I only had the finger prick and sono at Madonna in Babylon.

I had my ultrascreen done at Madonna in Babylon. It was both an internal and an external, with the finger prick.
I didn't wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment.
