FYI: Similac checks....
I know there have been some posts on here about stores not honoring them if they don't have ID that is the same as the name on the check. Please read the check because NO WHERE on the check does it say it can be only used by the person listed. It does not prohibit the check from being transferred from one person to another. A store should honor it no matter who it is presented by. The reason for the name it a marketing technique.

That's horrible! I can't stand when the cashier's act like it's coming out of their own pocket, as if they own the store. Just do your job!

The best place I have been to is BBB and they accept 9 checks at a time!
Per can..so if you buy more than one, split the order.
Go there!

ITA. It's not even their money. It's not a store check. It's from the manufacturer.

They did this to DH once and he looked at the cashier and was like does it really make a difference to you? Is the 5 bucks coming out of your paycheck? Needless to say, they let him use it.

BRU refused to honor mine - they said I had to show ID that had the same last name as the name on the check! Next time I'll try to push the issue with a manager!
